Freeport 5E Index

In my articles about using D&D Fifth Edition with Green Ronin's Freeport: The City of Adventure, I've started including an appendix with links to all past articles on this subject. However, that list is now long enough that I've decided it's time to post it as a separate index, much as I did for my "Building the Bestiary" series. I will update this list as I continue my Freeport 5E series, and link those future columns to this master list.

  1. Have you considered taking a look at The Pirate Campaign Compendium for 5E? A good chunk of it is reprinted from the Skull and Shackles adventure path for Pathfinder, but for 5E. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on using it in Freeport.

    1. I backed the P.C.C. Kickstarter for the 5E version because it sounded like it would be a great sourcebook for running Freeport in 5E, but the book was a huge disappointment for me. The conversions from Pathfinder were clunky, incomplete, and often confusing. Overall, the editing left a great deal to be desired compared to Green Ronin, Paizo, or Wizards, and I couldn't bring myself to finish reading it all the way through. As a result, I will not be using it in any of my future games, writing a "Freeport 5E" column about it, or backing other KS's by the publisher.
